Your ignorance is nothing but adorable.
I love you more with every heart you love to break.
Holding on to the smirk you fill me with,
As your hands rip apart the seal to my adolescence.
Screaming seems insignificant,
When one of your blinks makes me faint.
I call you arrogant yet bask in your artificial charm.
You’re exploding inside of the thoughts consuming me.
Who’d have thought I’d love watching you detach?
Sadism or masochism when you fall dead beside me?
No dagger could pierce through this incurable tension.
Subliminal messages within each truth to tell,
As though you’re ashamed.
Claim I have failed,
While I do not remember who you are.
We’ve suffocated in each others sweat and motions.
Kicking each other as soon as we’re down.
Deception is not for the apathetic,
So I laugh when you wipe the stains away.
What do words mean when I’ve lost my urge to hear?
Maybe next time you’ll wake me before you leave.
Is incompetence fragility?
Being colorblind takes the butterflies away.
What’s the difference when I call you in the morning,
And you call me back at night?
Love’s a myth to stones like us.
Soft in the mind but no hearts of our own.
Except what we use to make each other bleed.
Loneliness becomes an art form when I detest you,
And a way of life when I recall.
No night compares to tonight,
Except for yesterday and tomorrow.
No more tears to cry when we can barely breathe.
Were you ever real to me?
Eternity is lost while the thought of what’s next excites me.
Ripping pages to the book I’ll never finish.
Skipping record to the song I’ve memorized.
Growing like a defective irritation,
I am a minion to your empty orders.
To touch you leaves a fading flash within my glare.
Farewell is the promise of a year of dreaming;
I thank you for every single time I cry.

Music won't save you from anything but silence,
not from heartbreak, not from violence.
